Before the screen called, she studied early-childhood education and special needs, then trained at Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares academy in Mumbai — preparing for a debut that would launch an extraordinary career.
Since her 2017 breakout in Sargi, Rubina has built a diverse body of work across romantic comedies, social satires, and heartfelt dramas — while serving as a board member of The Chahal Foundation, championing the protection of vulnerable children worldwide.
From a heartfelt debut to a leading lady of Punjabi film.

Four films in a single year — the romcom Laiye Je Yaarian, the social satire Munda Hi Chahida, Gidarh Singhi, and a special appearance in Dil Diyan Gallan.
Released Parauneya Nu Dafa Karo and Beautiful Billo, followed by the pandemic-delayed romcom Good Luck Jatta opposite Ninja, reaching cinemas in 2021.
Appeared alongside her sister in the ZEE5 original Beautiful Billo, and starred in Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi, directed by Priti Sapru with singer Akhil.
Released Buhe Bariyan in 2023, with Laavan Phere 2 in post-production — balancing a creative career with on-the-ground advocacy at The Chahal Foundation.
I love the craft, the stories, and the people — but nothing compares to the joy of giving back and protecting those who need it most.Rubina Bajwa
