

Rubina Bajwa is a Canadian actress celebrated for her work in Indian Punjabi cinema. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia to Jaswant and Surinder Bajwa, she grew up immersed in Punjabi culture before travelling to India to shadow her elder sister, the acclaimed actress and filmmaker Neeru Bajwa.
Before the screen called, she studied early-childhood education and special needs, then trained at Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares academy in Mumbai, then set out on a debut that would launch an extraordinary career.
Since her 2017 breakout in Sargi, Rubina has built a diverse body of work across romantic comedies, social satires, and heartfelt dramas, while serving as a board member of The Chahal Foundation, championing the protection of vulnerable children worldwide.
